Exclusive Brands Torino inaugurates Nuovi Sguardi: a unique photographic exhibition combining art and business.

From 20 March to 20 May 2025, Turin’s Galleria Subalpina will host Nuovi Sguardi, a photographic exhibition showcasing the excellence of Piedmontese businesses through the lens of students from Turin’s European Institute of Design.
Exclusive Brands Torino, the first network of Piedmontese companies founded in 2011 to represent and promote a consolidated, expanded and contemporary concept of excellence, presents the photographic, narrative and authorial exhibition Nuovi Sguardi, created with the contribution of gold partner Banco Azzoaglio and in collaboration with the European Institute of Design in Turin.
Born from the encounter between the network of Piedmontese companies, supported by gold partner Banco Azzoaglio and official suppliers AON, CIDIMU, Grand Hotel Sitea, GS Events and YEG!, and IED Turin, with the aim of uniting the world of entrepreneurship with that of art and design, the exhibition represents an intergenerational and multifocal journey that – as its name suggests – looks confidently to the future.
The photographs and creative concepts featured in the visual narrative highlight the values that distinguish the Piedmontese network and the companies that are part of it. In particular, the works reflect the mission of Exclusive Brands Torino: to protect and enhance a cultural and productive heritage that has its roots in tradition, but which at the same time is open to new challenges and opportunities, aiming for an innovative and sustainable future.
Inclusiveness, sustainability, innovation, tradition and territory: these are the five keywords that characterise the exhibition, as well as the philosophy of the thirty companies featured in the photographs.
The result of an intense experience lived by a group of Photography and Design students from the Communication Design who explored and documented the Network’s factories up close, the exhibition represents a real moment of reflection: each shot, each image on display is not only a visual representation of the product, but the story of a place, a sound, a smell, a texture, a piece of history, a detail that encapsulates the soul of a company.
The hands at work, the faces of the artisans, the people who bring the production spaces to life every day, the atmosphere of the work environments and the everyday life that lies behind production: these are the aspects captured by the students, which reveal not only the quality of the products, but also the value of human relationships. Ultimately, the true essence of both entrepreneurial and artistic excellence.
The exhibition, which will be open to the public at the Galleria Subalpina in Turin from 20 March to 20 May 2025 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (including Saturdays and Sundays), is therefore an unmissable opportunity to discover the world of Exclusive Brands Torino and the perspective of the young and curious talents of IED Torino.

After 20 May, the exhibition – designed to be easily transportable – will become itinerant. In this way, if the excellence of the Piedmont region becomes known beyond regional borders, the principles and aims of the collaboration can be disseminated on a national scale, reaching an ever wider audience and continuing to promote the encounter between tradition, innovation and creativity.
“Nuovi Sguardi is a project that Exclusive Brands Torino is particularly fond of. Through the universal and inclusive language of photography, the students of IED Torino have managed to involve all thirty companies in the network, each with their own unique characteristics,” says Giulio Trombetta, President and CEO of Costadoro and President of Exclusive Brands Torino. “The exhibition, a unique opportunity to bring together the industrial realities of our territory with the world of education and research, is a visual journey that recounts our daily commitment to keeping Piedmontese excellence alive, while promoting the innovation and talent of the new generations.”
“Dialogue with the business world has always been in IED’s DNA, and this exhibition is concrete proof of that,” says Director Paola Zini. “Offering our students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the productive reality of the territory and interpret its essence through the language of photography and the tools of communication means not only enhancing their talent, but also allowing them to acquire a broader vision of their professional future. We are proud to have contributed to this project, which reflects our commitment to training professionals capable of understanding and responding to the needs of the world of work with sensitivity and competence.”
“Turin has rediscovered vocational aspects that allow it to showcase its excellence internationally in all fields: art, architecture, culture, business and food and wine.
Events such as this are an example of how the typical aspects of our high-quality entrepreneurial tradition can be enhanced through a vision conveyed by a stimulating representation that generates pleasant sensations and interesting reflections,” says Paolo Chiavarino, Councillor for Trade and Markets of the City of Turin. “The temporary location of the exhibition, identified in the splendid and elegant Galleria Subalpina, a private space but open to the public free of charge, is an appreciable choice that goes in the direction of making available to everyone, tourists and citizens alike, a historical, architectural and cultural heritage that belongs to our city”.
