An elegant ambassador of the Made in Italy style around the world, the Mattioli brand has built its success on the foundations of its noble past, linked to the best-known and skilled jewelry making tradition in Turin. Its roots can be traced back to the end of the last century with the Antica Ditta Marchisio, owner of the first punch issued by the city of Turin: the historic “1 TO”. Specializing in the creation and handcrafting of high-quality jewelry and goldwork, the company has, since its inception, relied on the invaluable contribution of a large team of artisans who work the gold from start to finish: from melting the ingots to the finished pieces.

In 1995, the Mattioli family purchased the workshop and began a major renovation phase which involved major investments in technology, innovation, human resources, and training. In 2000, Mattioli launched its own line, a combination of the technique, passion and research that have traditionally defined the company. This is how the Mattioli brand was started. Under the guidance and creativity of Licia Mattioli, a lawyer by training and entrepreneur by vocation, the brand began to make a name for itself around the world, eventually exporting its jewelry to more than twenty countries. The research into materials and use of the latest technology keeps pace with unusual, exclusive and one-of-a-kind designs by a staff of more than 500 skilled goldsmiths and stone setters.

Mattioli’s collections are colorful, modern and versatile. Every piece of jewelry draws inspiration from the experience of their creator, Licia Mattioli. Fine goldwork enshrines stories related to the world of art, nature, and travel, allowing women to express their own personal style every day. An interpreter of contemporary luxury, Mattioli redesigns the classic forms of jewelry, transforming them into eye-catching, contemporary lines, telling the story of the roots of the Italian goldsmith tradition in colorful variations.

Numerous awards attest to the scale of the company’s work: Licia Mattioli has served as president of Unione Industriale di Torino and of Federorafi, and vice president of Confindustria’s technical committee for the internationalization of foreign investors. In June 2017, she was named a Cavaliere del Lavoro (Order of Merit for Labor) by the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella. Mattioli S.p.A now employs over 500 people across its main production facility in Turin, six subsidiaries in the goldsmith district of Valenza, and a brand new hub in Marcianise, Caserta.
