Over a century has passed since Codebò, Italy’s oldest elevator company, launched its operations. A century in which the bicycle has shifted to the electric car, going so far as to have one million people a day being transported. Techniques and needs have changed, new materials have been created, but our values are the same as they were a century ago. Five generations have succeeded each other at the helm of the company, passing on knowledge and enriching it, improving quality and reliability.

We build and maintain elevators of many different characteristics, ages, and levels of complexity, and we use technology to be more efficient and improve our lives, the lives of our employees, and the lives of our customers.

We use our expertise, accumulated and passed down over more than a century in the business, to repair all that is possible, with a view to enhancing resources and reducing waste that is both new and old. The solutions we adopt are state-of-the-art in terms of mechanics, engineering and electronics.

They are custom-designed and feature the highest standards of reliability, safety and comfort.

We are so used to taking the elevator, everywhere and every day, that we hardly consider it a means of transportation anymore.

We may be impressed by the aesthetics and, in some cases, the speed with which we “climb” meters and meters in height, but we know little about why this is possible and how that product is technically made that perhaps for us has only the appeal of a vintage object or futuristic design element.
