Fondazione Ricerca Molinette is a non-profit NGO, based in Turin, Italy.
Created in 2001, the Foundation has supported the scientific research of Molinette Hospital, providing top quality care in Turin area.
Proudly established by Franca Segre, the first President, together with some of the best professors and doctors from the hospital, the Foundation strongly believes in the power of scientific research, to improve the health of our communities. In 18 years of activity Fondazione Ricerca Molinette has founded the work of 321 researchers, raising over 11 million euros, granted by banks foundations, companies, public authorities and private donors. Our 18 research groups are the best sign of our commitment in increasing scientific research and improve medical treatment, with the aim of creating a bridge between medical research and hospital care, operatively working to develop new drugs, medicines and therapies.
Our external activities are mainly focused on two different areas. On the one hand, for the organization of awareness activities in the field of prevention and cure of cancer pathologies, mostly in Turin. On the other hand, in fundraising campaigns to support specific research projects.
