Today more than ever respect for the environment, attention to the social fabric and focus on the person must be at the core of company policies. Uniquely economic based profit no longer exists, instead it is now intrinsically interconnected with sustainability, whether in its greener sense or centred on the team’s well-being. In Piemonte “Benefit Companies” that follow these principles are consistently growing in numbers and attention for 360° sustainability is ever-deeper.
Allemano has taken in the concepts of sustainability and benefit company and made them its own, investing its efforts on what we feel is the core of sustainable production: people. For us social sustainability includes all those activities revolving around the goal of making the single person feel part of a company-community, one that only works if nobody stays behind. People are at the centre of our equation and we work every day for it to remain that way, both in our company and in other entrepreneurial realities - our Consulting division has been wide spreading our company reorganization projects for several years now.
Such projects are born with the goal of benefitting industrial efficiency and effectiveness by placing at its centre the most effective resource: people. Starting from an analysis of the general competences of the organization, all the way to mapping the emotional competences of the team to fully understand the culture that characterises the company. Identifying and developing the strengths of the team members generates an advantage on the work place; channelling emotional intelligence we can define the necessary characteristics to realise the best possible personal performances for the achievement of the company goals with dedication and involvement. At the same time, we develop the technical competences of the technical staff so to achieve an optimal result in terms of productivity. In such way we assist in generating an ideal context for excellent collaboration between and within working teams, that leads to the development of competitive and winning organizations, able to adapt to continuous changes. In short, social sustainability.
