The Pastificio Defilippis is located in a historic restaurant in Turin located in the city center. The Pastificio is recognized as the excellence of handmade pasta and a reference point for the people of Turin and for the many tourists who flock to the city.
Its history began in 1872, when the chef of the House of Savoy Domenico Toso returned to Turin and opened his own workshop at 39 of Via Lagrange. Later the restaurant was bought by Maria Ferraris Defilippis, who renamed it with her husband’s name. In 2008 the Damilano family took over the old property, bringing various changes to the premises and transforming the pasta factory into a gastronomy and restaurant. Every day, the Pastaie produce a wide range of fresh egg pasta internally, using simple and selected raw materials. The emblem of the Pastificio Defilipps is the "Raviolo della gran tradizione", with its special filling wrapped in a thin and velvety pastry sheet.
The delicious and refined proposals of pasta are all handmade: ravioli del plin, agnolotti, margheritine and pasta filled with fresh and selected ingredients. The Pastificio in Turin also offers a wide variety of dried pasta made from durum wheat semolina and drawn in bronze. Numerous types of pasta: the maximum expression of the Made in Italy and the true "handmade" Italian!
The restaurant, in addition to the internal rooms, has a large terrace overlooking the elegant pedestrian street, where you can enjoy the specialties of the ancient pasta-making tradition and various dishes offered by the chef according to the season, for an authentic and refined cuisine. Typical piedmontese dishes alternate with new and tasty dishes, to enjoy in the historic center of Turin all the good of our country.
